Balance. Purpose. Enlightenment.

Finding a Life Manual Just in Time

We must let go of the life we have planned to have the life that is waiting for us. – E. M. Forester

I was at my lowest ebb in just about every way – mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. And I nearly died of the flu. “Oh boy,” I thought, “I know there’s more to life than this, but where is it?

For a long time, I had tried to find a foundation I could call my own – one that really made sense in explaining the Ps and Qs of the universe. I wanted a life manual that truly helped me prosper and build a better world for myself and others.

Just at this very low ebb, I found the Lemurian Philosophy, and no one will ever convince me that was a coincidence. It saved my life and helped me turn it around – not by miraculous enlightenment, but by a gradual unfoldment as I used the teachings and training in my life. I learned to use my mind to visualize and create more of what I wanted, and not focus so much on what I didn’t want.

The changes I experienced were so encouraging that, after completing the Lemurian Advanced Training and becoming a member of the Lemurian Order, nothing could hold me back from moving closer to the headquarters of the Great Work. And so, at 71, I packed up and drove from Rhode Island to Ramona, California.

Once in this completely new and different environment, I had to establish myself. At a time of high unemployment this wasn’t exactly a snap, but I had the Lemurian Philosophy – a life manual of tested principles I could and did use and rely on to help me. There was a support system of fellow Lemurians to house and feed me and keep my spirits high as I searched for a job and a place to live. And I could compensate by helping at Lemurian Order headquarters on my days off.

Fortunately, science teachers are usually in demand so my experience background helped me land a teaching job at the local high school. I love this age group and can identify with their seeking and searching for the meaning of life, their place in it, and where they are headed. It’s an emotional time for them in trying to make sense of it all. They are inheriting a very unstable world, and that’s daunting too.

So I draw on my Lemurian training to encourage an environment that accentuates the positive. In whatever classroom I find myself, I try to remain calm, steady, and supportive with them in their seeking and questions, and try to assure them they all have a reason for being here and are valued. I want them to know they all count, and with a little encouragement, they can make a difference for others, too.
